Popradar The Hague is an organization in The Hague that provides a lively and diverse pop scene within The Hague. We manage the largest rehearsal space center in The Hague and create new local, national and international opportunities for acts and musicians from The Hague.
At the location in Loosduinen we have 20 rehearsal rooms, a professional sound studio, various teaching and presentation rooms, the Radar café with weekly program and the large Radar room that you can rent for performances, parties and meetings. In addition, music lessons and band coaching are given by, among others, Ready To Play and Drumschool Stefan van de Brug.
The Hague acts can turn to Music Support for advice and (financial) support within their route to further development. We connect musicians, coaches, bookers, producers, the public, policy makers, initiators and pop organizations.
Every year we organize the Haagse Popweek, a local pop festival in the city. During the Autumn holiday we call attention to emerging pop talent in The Hague for a week. The Hague Pop Week serves as a showcase of what is currently playing in the field of genres such as pop, rock, indie, singer-songwriter, urban / hip hop and electronics and is also a week in which talent development is central.
We manage the alternative music platform Submarine, which is always looking for new alternative music streams. SuBmarine is a laboratory for exciting, groundbreaking and new underground projects and is exploring unknown musical fields.
