She lives in Whitehorse, Yukon, a town in the Northwest Territories, which can only be strategically located on the Risk playing field. “I worked with problem youngsters of Indian origin there. Many drug addicts. Part of the songs is based on their stories. I wondered if they had ever dreamed of great things. ”Her working hours were flexible, so that she could combine work with performances. But building a musical career from such a remote place is almost impossible. She has since resigned from her job and is staying in Toronto for much of the year.
