Montblank + Frae @ Stathé

The echoes of MONTBLANK sound like rumblings of The Weekend at the foot and cold breezes of CHVRCHES on the summit. The long journey in-between is scenic, inspiriting and atmospheric. MONTBLANK (pronounced [mɔ̃ blɑ̃]) was formed by the collision of shifting plates. In a world of shallowness MONTBLANK does not care about what’s covering the surface. It only cares about the resonances it forms and all it moves.

Frae: With her recognizable and soulful sound, the 24-year-old Frae pours out her heart over her pop songs, clearly influenced by 90’s / 00’s R&B. After having been active in the Dutch music scene for a number of years as a (backing) vocalist and songwriter for various bands (TRAUDES, Liptease, Velvet Vox), she introduces her own sound this year: a mix of urban electronics and live instruments. She performs these songs in a lively and passionate live show. A whirlwind of impressive pop and r & b vocals and an enchanting performance.
