JWO Quartertone Trio @ Grounds

Guitarist Jan Wouter Austria had his guitar converted into a quarter-tone guitar, a unique instrument with which he can perfectly hear the sound world of North African music. He developed the crossover “Maghreb jazz” and “Sharqi Blues”, completely different types of music. With his Electric Quartertone Guitar Trio he shows songs from his latest album We Are Connected and his own adaptations of Arabic classics.
