Jessica Wilde (UK) + ParHasard @ Café Hofman

De Londense singer-songwriter Jessica Wilde combineert klassieke soul met savy attitude. Ze groeide op in de straten van Londen met een new wave-soul waar de liefde voor hiphop ontstond en werd grootgebracht door een moeder met een passie voor jazz en soul. Deze blend van muziekstijlen is duidelijk terug te horen in haar muziek.

What started out as a family reunion, turned out to be a lot more. In january 2017 the individuals met on a birthday of a relative and it was at that moment that they discovered the musical connection between them. ParHasard (French for ‘By Coincidence’) is a Neo-soul/Jazz band and released their debut EP ‘Rise Up’ recently. With songs as ‘Good Vibes’, ‘l’ll Show You’ and ‘Pass it along’, they try to send out their own messages, that it is okay to lose control, to never take things for granted and to inspire and get inspired by the people around you.
